Installation Of New Turf Surface
In Final Phases At George J. Sherman Family Sports
Complex
STORRS, Conn. (August 1, 2008) –
The summer improvements at the George J. Sherman
Family Sports Complex continue to make progress. On Friday, Aug. 1, a new
artificial turf surface was in the final phases of the installation process. Overall, the
facility is getting a new playing surface and the track is also being
refurbished.
The George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex is the home of
UConn field hockey, women's lacrosse and men's and women's outdoor track.
