Lottery Plan
Classification System (consistent with Registrars Office class year standings)
Undergraduate students who have earned 86 or more credits have the best chance
of being a lottery winner, but are not guaranteed season tickets.
PLEASE NOTE:
Credits earned are current as of September 10, 2008 as reported by the
Registrar’s Office
Seniors: Storrs undergraduate
students who enter the lottery and have earned 86 credits or more will
have their PeopleSoft ID number entered in the lottery program 5 times.
Juniors: Storrs undergraduate
students who enter the lottery and have earned 54 credits, but fewer than 86
will have their PeopleSoft ID number entered in the lottery program 4 times.
Sophomores: Storrs undergraduate students who enter
the lottery and have earned 24 credits, but fewer than 54 will have their
PeopleSoft ID number entered in the lottery program 3 times.
Freshmen: Storrs undergraduate students who enter the
lottery with fewer than 24 credits earned will have their PeopleSoft ID number
entered in the lottery program 2 times.
Storrs Graduate Students: All
Storrs Campus graduate students will have their PeopleSoft ID number entered in
the lottery program 2 times.
Others: All regional campus,
law, medical, dental and MBA students who enter the lottery will have their
PeopleSoft ID number entered in the lottery program 1 time.

Ad published in Daily Campus, notice published on go.uconn.edu
and informational
email sent via list serve which outlines the plan to sell
basketball season tickets.
Each will alert students to watch for an email from BB TIX
with a subject line of BB
TIX on Wednesday, September 24.
Student Activities contacts peers at Regional Campuses.
September 24
Online lottery entry credentials, lottery policies/procedures and
lottery entry link emailed to students
September 24-29
Online lottery entry period
September 29
Online lottery entry deadline Noon
September 30 and October 1
Ticket Office assembles lottery winners
October 2
Lottery winners notified by email by 7 pm with buying instructions
October 2-6
Lottery winners purchase tickets online
One
Gampel season ticket and one or two 2 HCC season tickets
First 1000 season tickets sold at HCC are lower level general admission
Remaining HCC season tickets are upper level general admission
October 7
Beginning at 10:00 pm if tickets remain for any venue, then all non-lottery
winners can purchase season tickets online on a first-come, first-serve
basis until the supply is exhausted.
The process is open to all undergraduate students with a valid PeopleSoft ID at
the
Storrs Campus and all Regional Campuses as well as all graduate and professional
school students. |
