Baseball Against Pittsburgh on Friday Night Postponed to Saturday
Doubleheader
PITTSBURGH, Pa.
(May 16, 2008)
— Due to the
inclement weather the
University of Connecticut baseball game against Pittsburgh scheduled
for Friday night has been postponed to Saturday, May 17. The game
will be made up as part of a doubleheader set to start at noon.
Saturday's
doubleheader will open with a seven-inning contest and will be
followed by a nine-inning game to finish off regular season play for
the Huskies, who remain in contention for a spot in the BIG EAST
Championship, which begins on Monday, May 19, in Clearwater, Fla.
