“Marcus has decided to leave the basketball program and will withdraw from the University at the conclusion of the final exam period.” The fall semester final exam period concludes Saturday. “We wish Marcus the best in whatever he decides to do in the future,” concluded Calhoun.

He played in 23 games off the bench as a freshman in 2002-03 and appeared in four games in 2003-04 before missing the remainder of the season with a bulging disk in his back. He averaged 3.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in his 32 appearances.
