"Top Dogs" to Air Tuesday, March 1 on CPTV
STORRS, Conn. (February 24, 2005)-- "TOP DOGS: The Run to Number
One", the official video of the 2004 University of Connecticut
NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, will air on Connecticut Public
Television on Tuesday, March 1. The video will air following the
completion of the UConn-West Virginia women's basketball game, which begins at
7:00 p.m. on CPTV.
"TOP DOGS: The Run to Number One" is the story of UConn's wire-to-wire
journey to the 2004 National Championship. The video is a production of
Innovision Film and Video Productions and ISP Sports in association with
Collegiate Images and the University of Connecticut.
The DVD is currently on sale at the UConn Co-op, Bob's Stores and Golfers
Warehouse. It is also available at Walmart, Sam's Club and Foot Locker. Only the
UConn Co-op is selling VHS copies.
The video is jam packed with highlights from UConn's wire to wire run to the
national championship.
All regular season, Big East and NCAA Tournament games are highlighted in
this video, including the thrilling come-from-behind victories over Pittsburgh
in the Big East Tournament Championship and Duke in the NCAA Tournament
semi-finals. The video also includes interviews with coaches and
student-athletes, and footage from the national championship parade and rally in
Hartford. A special feature of this video is exclusive behind the scenes footage
from the Final Four in San Antonio which includes team meetings, practices,
leisure activities and even locker room pep talks and celebrations. This
collector's edition video is a must have for any Husky fan. |
