SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Sept. 9) -
One of the most historic moments in the
history of University of Connecticut athletics took place from Sept.
8-10 as men's basketball coach Jim Calhoun was inducted into the
Basketball Hall of Fame. The weekend began Thursday night with a Hall
of Fame Reunion Dinner and continued with the Enshrinement Ceremony on
Friday. The Induction Ceremony took place on Saturday morning and
Calhoun was honored at the halftime of the UConn vs. Liberty
football game.

At halftime of the football game, Calhoun was
presented his Hall of Fame jersey by UConn Director of Athletics Jeff
Hathaway and Hall of Fame President and CEO John Doleva.
The Class of 2005 received their Hall of Fame
Rings at Saturday's Induction Ceremony.
