BOSTON, MA (Nov. 1) - The University of Connecticut men's cross country team
came in 14th in the BIG EAST Championship race at Franklin Park in Boston, MA on
Friday. In the 8000-meter race, Villanova senior Jonathan Fasulo finished
second, leading the Wildcats to the title. Fasulo, the sixth-place finisher last
year, completed the race in 23:48.
The top men’s finisher was Providence senior Adam Sutton. He completed the
race in 23:33, marking the seventh time that a Friar took home top individual
honors.
UConn finished with 403 points, as Pat Blake led the Huskies, finishing 67th
overall in a time of 26:12.
