Men’s Cross Country Finishes 15th at the NCAA Regional
BRONX, N.Y.
(Nov. 13) – The
University of Connecticut men’s cross country team finished 15th out
of 34 teams at the NCAA Regional on Saturday with 379 points.
Sophomore Max Feldman (Easton,
Conn.) led the
Huskies in 28th out of 229 competitors with a time of 31:54.8.
Freshman Paul Durfee (Laconia,
N.H.) followed
in 52nd with a time of 32:32.3 and freshman
Will Melofchik (Wayside,
N.J.) took 78th
with a time of 32:57.1.
Providence won the meet
with 28 points and Bruce Hyde of Cornell was the individual champion with a time
of 30:36.1.
