Huskies Take 18th Place In The New England Cross Country Championships

BOSTON (October 8, 2005) - The University of Connecticut men's cross country team competed in the New England Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning, taking 18th place with a total of 475 points.  Leading the way for the Huskies was Max Feldman (Easton, Conn.) who finished in 28th place in a time of 25:47.

Also participating for the Huskies was Will Melofchik (Wayside, N.J.), who finished 33rd in 25:56. Brian Colonese (Easton, Conn.) was 122nd in 27:08 and Brian Cacace (East Haven, Conn.) took 139th in 27:15. Brian Gagnon (Lowell, Mass.) was 153rd, Kyle Eckman (Bridgewater, N.J.) placed 176th and Daren Myers (Cohoes, N.Y.) finished in 306th place.  

The men will next compete on Saturday, Oct. 15, in the Albany Invitational.
