Huskies Victorious in Inaugural Game at Rentschler Field

GAME RECAP


Junior Alfred Fincher makes one of his 10 tackles in UConn's win over Indiana. Fincher had seven solo tackles and three assisted ones.
 
The Huskies get ready to run a play at the line of scrimmage in the inaugural game at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.

Sophomore linebacker James Hargrave had nine total tackles, including six which were assisted.

Junior Dan Orlovsky notched 307 passing yards in UConn's win over Indiana. He threw for three touchdown passes.

Freshman place kicker Matt Nuzie made 21 and 37 yard field goals, for the Huskies while hitting on four extra points.

A crowd of 38,109 fans attended UConn's 34-10 win over Indiana at opening day at Rentschler Field.
