Television Information For Connecticut vs. Rhode Island Football Game

STORRS, Connecticut (August 29, 2006) -- The University of Connecticut vs. Rhode Island football game on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 7:30 p.m. will be televised live from Rentschler Field by ESPN Regional Television. Dave Weekley will provided the play-by-play call while former Notre Dame and Michigan assistant coach and Chicago native Bob Chmiel will provide color.

The game will be available on the following outlets:

YES Network -- servicing areas in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

COX-New England -- servicing Rhode Island

Northwest Iowa Telephone -- servicing the Sioux City, Iowa region

Charter Television St. Louis -- servicing the St. Louis region

In addition, the YES Network is available on DirectTV, Channel 622. The game will not be blacked out to YES subscribers on DirectTV.
