Monday Football Notebook: UConn Vs. Rutgers Noon On ESPNU, Brown On BIG EAST Honor Roll

STORRS, Conn. (October 6, 2008) – The UConn at Rutgers football game on Saturday, October 18 will begin at 12:00 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPNU. That announcement was made on Monday by ESPN and the BIG EAST Conference office.

In addition, UConn junior running back Donald Brown (Atlantic Highlands, N.J.) was named to the weekly BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for his performance in UConn's game vs. North Carolina on Saturday. Brown had 161 yards of rushing for one touchdowns in the 38-12 loss to the Tar Heels. He remains the country's leading rusher at 177.8 yards per game.
