STORRS, CT (September 17) – Senior Damani Ralph (Kingston,
Jamaica) of the University of Connecticut men’s soccer team was selected as the
Co-BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week named by the league officials on Monday
afternoon. Ralph shares the honor with St. John's Rich Bradley.
Ralph scored both goals in UConn’s 2-0 BIG EAST win over West
Virginia on Saturday night. He tallied first half goal off a free kick, and
netted his fourth goal of the season just 6:51 into the second half.
Connecticut will travel to Boston University on Tuesday,
September 17, for a game slated to begin at 7:00 pm.
