PROVIDENCE, RI (October 7) – Cesar Cuellar (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) of the University of Connecticut men’s soccer team was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Cuellar recorded a hat trick in No. 7 UConn’s 5-1 BIG EAST win over Georgetown on Saturday night. All three scores came in a 20-minute time span in the first half after the Hoyas took a 1-0 lead.
