Schuerman Named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, RI (June 17) – Freshman goalie Adam Schuerman (Brookfield, WI), of the University of Connecticut men’s soccer team, was named to the 2002-03 BIG EAST Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office. Schuerman received a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2002-03 academic school year.

Schuerman played and started in all 23 of Connecticut’s games in 2002. He allowed 22 goals against, while playing in 2075-minutes in net for a 0.95 average. He recorded 76 saves and ended the season with a 17-6 overall record, earning 11 shutouts between the pipes.
