STORRS, CT (October 27) -- 14th year University of Connecticut field hockey
coach Nancy Stevens won her 200th career game at Connecticut when her squad
defeated Syracuse, 2-1, on Sunday in New York. Coach Stevens is now only 12 wins
away from tying former UConn coach Diane Wright for the all-time wins record.

Conference, winning a league record 12 BIG EAST titles (six regular season, six
tournament). UConn has also made seven appearances in the NCAA Division I Field
Hockey Championship, including two trips to the semifinals, and three trips to
the quarterfinal round.
