STORRS, Conn. (Nov. 8, 2004) — The No. 6 University of Connecticut field hockey team (20-1) will learn its first-round opponent and site on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on College Sports Television’s (CSTV) NCAA Field Hockey Selection Show.

The Huskies are guaranteed an automatic berth to the 16-team NCAA Tournament field following their 4-1 win over Boston College in the BIG EAST Championship Game.

CSTV’s selection show coverage will be hosted by Adam Zucker.  Zucker and guests will analyze the brackets, preview first round games as well as the players and teams to watch.

The NCAA Field Hockey National Semifinals and Championship are scheduled for Friday and Sunday, Nov. 19 & 21 at Kentner Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, N.C.

CSTV will televise the NCAA Championship Game live on Sunday, Nov. 21 (12:30 p.m., ET) with Beth Mowins calling the action, Siri Lindley on color and Jenny Cavnar providing sideline analysis.
