Women's Soccer To Host First Round Of 2005 NCAA Tournament
Tournament Bracket STORRS, Conn. (November 7, 2005)- The
University of Connecticut women's
soccer team will be hosting the first round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament on
Thursday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 12 at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium on the
Storrs Campus. The Huskies (15-4-2) will play in the first game of the
round on Thursday against Boston University (13-4-4) at 6:00 p.m. Boston
College (11-5-2) will take on Dartmouth (12-4-1) in the second game at 8:00 p.m.
on Thursday . The winners of these two games will vie for the chance to
advance to the second round of the tournament on Saturday at noon. This is the
team's 24th consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament. Connecticut is one of
only two schools to be selected to the tournament ever year. Tickets for
these events will be available starting on Tuesday morning at the UConn ticket
office and will also be available at the gate. All tickets will be general
admission and prices are as follows: $7.00 Adults
$5.00 Youth/Senior Citizens/Students
