ASSISTANT WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY COACH
The University of
Connecticut is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, paid intern
position with the women’s ice hockey program. Responsibilities include:
assisting the Head Women’s Ice Hockey Coach in planning and organizing all
phases of a Division I women’s ice hockey program including recruitment of
prospective student-athletes; scheduling and travel arrangements; development of
the student-athlete; game preparation; marketing and community involvement; and
other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Ice Hockey Coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; strong commitment to the academic
goals of the University required; organizational, communication and public
relations skills required; master’s degree preferred; collegiate coaching and
playing experience strongly preferred;.
