JOB OPPORTUNITIES
FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS INTERN
The University of Connecticut is seeking qualified applications for a paid
internship position in the Athletics Facilities and Operations Office. The
intern will assist the Director of Facility Maintenance with the daily
maintenance and upkeep of all athletic facilities. This includes but not limited
to: work order processing; building security system, policies and procedures;
assisting with project management; working with University Facility Services
personnel. This intern will also work in event operations for select sports.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; excellent communication and
administrative skills; previous facility management and event operations
experience strongly preferred; knowledge of NCAA rules strongly preferred;
ability to work athletic events, irregular schedules, weekends and evenings
required. Intern positions are 12 month appointments. Approximate start date:
July 1.
