At Connecticut: Three-year letterwinner who has
played in 66 career games, averaging 1.2 points and 1.4
rebounds... Was redshirted during the 1998-99 season... Considered one of the
top young talents in all of Australia... Played in France on People-to-People
All-Star team during the summer of 2000... Played during the summer of 1999 with
Australian U-22 National Team.
As a Junior in 2001-2002: Played in 26 games,
averaging 1.2 points and 1.9 rebounds... Had a career-high eight points in the
win over George Washington... Had four points and four rebounds in the win over
Miami on January 5...Broke his left hand in practice on January 29 and missed
three games (at Rutgers, at Miami and Providence)... Had surgery on February 1
and had a metal plate and seven pins placed in his hand... Returned to action
against St. John’s on February 9 with a padded football lineman’s glove...
Received the annual Strength and Conditioning Award at the team banquet.
As a Sophomore in 2000-2001: Played in 29 of 32
games as a frontcourt reserve... Averaged 1.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 5.4
minutes per game... Registered a then career-high seven points in win over
Providence on February 6... Had career-highs of 17 minutes and six rebounds in
win over Massachusetts on December 12... Recorded three blocks in a game on two
occasions, vs. New Hampshire and vs. Massachusetts.
As a Redshirt Freshman in 1999-2000: Appeared
in 11 games off the bench... Scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 28
minutes of action on the season... Had four points and two rebounds in six
minutes vs. Coppin State on November 29.
High School: Graduated from Australian Institute of
Sports in Canberra, Australia (same school which produced NBA center Luc
Longley)…Averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds…Also member of the Australian Junior
National Team.
