Has completely overhauled his grip and pre-swing fundamentals ... continues to work for a spot in the starting lineup ... posts a career average of 85.6 in two seasons at UConn.  Spring 2001: Did not compete in tournament play during the spring.  Fall 2000: Did not compete in tournament play during the fall.  Spring 2000: Competed in three tournaments for UConn. Lowered his career-average by three strokes from the fall of 1999. Shot his lowest two-day total of the season (84-77-161) while carding a career-low round of 77 in the New England Championship helping UConn to a tie for fourth place.  Fall 1999: Made his freshman debut participating in two tournaments for UConn. Clark finished his first season with a stroke average of 87.0.  In High School: Clark was a four-year letterwinner at Hanover High School under the direction of head coach Ken Johnson. Earned Patriot League All-Scholastic honors. A two-time captain in golf, he also lettered four seasons in hockey. Personal: Steven Todd Clark ... born April 3, 1981 ... Steve is undecided on his major at UConn.
