Micah Truax Repeats as All-American

STORRS, Conn. (June 4, 2008) - For the second consecutive season, Easton Sports has named University of Connecticut junior softball player Micah Truax (South Glen Falls, N.Y.) to one of its All-American teams. Truax was named a second team All-American on Wednesday. She made the third team in 2007.

Softball Falls to DePaul 4-3 in BIG EAST Semifinals

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 9, 2008) - The University of Connecticut softball put up a strong effort against 20th-ranked DePaul in the BIG EAST semifinals Friday, but fell 4-3. DePaul improves to 47-16 on the season, while UConn finishes the year 28-22.
