Women's Volleyball Announces 2008 Schedule
STORRS, Conn. (June 12, 2008) - University of Connecticut women's volleyball coach Holly Strauss-O'Brien released the team's 2008 schedule on Thursday. The schedule will include two teams from the 2007 Final CSTV/AVCA Division I Coaches' Top 25 Poll along with two teams who received votes for that poll.

Women's Volleyball Newcomer Luhrsen Selected for U.S. Women's Junior National Training Team

(May 22, 2008) - Annie Luhrsen (Wheaton, Ill.), who will join the University of Connecticut women’s volleyball team this fall, has been chosen as one of the 19 athletes who will train for the U.S. Women's Junior National Team at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. July 8-19.

Chambers Surpasses 1,000-kill Mark in 3-2 Win Over Arkansas
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (November 24, 2007) - Senior Sadé Chambers (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) reached the 1,000-kill mark during her last collegiate contest as she recorded 25 kills to lead the University of Connecticut women's volleyball team past Arkansas 3-2 (32-30, 29-31, 25-30, 30-27, 15-11) on Saturday afternoon.
