A redshirt sophomore who will continue to battle with Anthony Sherman for the starting fullback job.

2007: Played in 12 of the 13 games, making starts against Temple (Sept. 15) and Syracuse (Nov. 17) … Mainly a blocker … Did not carry the ball and had a two-yard touchdown catch at West Virginia (Nov. 24) on his only reception … Made four tackles on special teams, three of them against the Mountaineers.

2006: Redshirted … Named the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the Pittsburgh game (Nov. 11).

High School: Named honorable mention All-Metro by the Washington Post as a senior … Named All-County and All-League as a junior and senior … Ran for 550 yards in 2005 with 10 total touchdowns after rushing for 260 yards as a junior and scored a total of seven times … On defense as a senior recorded 85 tackles, including 11 for loss with eight sacks, while forcing four fumbles … Also served as the team’s kicker and punter … Team co-MVP in 2005 … Captained the varsity football team as a senior and the freshman football team in ninth grade.
