A fifth-year senior who has started games in each of the
previous three seasons at left tackle and expects to continue in this
role in 2008.
Career: Has appeared in 26 games for UConn with 22
starts, all of them coming at left tackle.
2007: Started all 13 games at left tackle, one of
three Husky offensive linemen to start every game … .Shared the
offensive game ball with his fellow linemen after the win over USF (Oct.
27) and earned one by himself against Maine (Sept. 8).
2006: Started each of the first five games of the
year at left tackle before breaking a leg at USF (Oct. 7) and missing
the remainder of the season.
2005: Played in eight games at left tackle with
four starts … Earned a start in each of the final three games of the
season, coming at Pittsburgh (Nov. 12) and at home vs. USF (Nov. 26) and
Louisville (Dec. 3) … Also started at Georgia Tech (Sept. 17) when Craig
Berry was suffering from pneumonia.
2004: Redshirted.
High School: A first-team All-County football pick
on both offense and defense … Played defensive end, defensive tackle,
offensive tackle and tight end during his career at William Penn … Team
