Played in all 13 games on special teams and as a reserve defensive end …
Made 21 tackles on the year, two of which were for a loss … Shared a
sack, the first of his career, for his only tackle at West Virginia
(Nov. 24) … Made three tackles in the win at Pittsburgh (Sept. 22),
including a TFL … Had a season-high four stops against Temple (Sept. 15)
including a half of a TFL.
2006:
Redshirted … Named the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week prior to
the Indiana (Sept. 23) and Rutgers (Oct. 29) games … Also named Special
Teams Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the Cincinnati game (Nov.
25).
High School:
Played running back and linebacker in high school … Was a team
captain in junior and senior years … Earned All-County honorable mention
honors as a junior and was All-Conference as a sophomore … Played in the
Nassau County vs. Suffolk County All-Star game … Also played basketball
and lacrosse and was captain of both teams.
