A fourth-year junior who has played several offensive line positions for the Huskies and is currently slotted to line up at right tackle..

Career: Started 22 of his 23 career games played … Of the 22 starts, 18 have been at right tackle and four at left guard.

2007: Played in all 13 games, starting all but the season opener at Duke (Sept. 1) … Started the games against Maine (Sept. 8), Syracuse (Nov. 17), West Virginia (Nov. 24) and Wake Forest (Dec. 29) at left guard and the others at right tackle … Shared the offensive game ball with his fellow linemen after the USF game (Oct. 27).

2006: Appeared in 10 games, all starts, at right tackle, missing the Syracuse (Nov. 18) and Cincinnati (Nov. 25) games with an ankle injury.

2005: Redshirted … Named the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the Louisville game (Dec. 3).

High School: An All-State selection on the offensive line by both The Hartford Courant and The New Haven Register … Also earned All-League and All-Area honors as a senior and was an All-League pick as a junior … On defense, had 37 tackles with seven sacks … Team went 8-2 in his senior year while advancing to the state finals in both 2001 and 2002 … A state weight lifting champion, totaling 1,080 (bench, squat and clean combined) … Also earned two varsity letters in basketball … Helped deliver food to the homeless for five years.
