Teams Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the Louisville game (Oct.
19) … Named the Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the
Cincinnati game (Nov. 10).
Before UConn:
Attended the University of Wisconsin from 2004-06, but never played for
the Badgers.
High School:
Named All-State as a senior when, as a quarterback, he threw for over
1,400 yards with 10 touchdowns while rushing for 923 yards and 19 scores
… Also made 42 tackles on defense with four interceptions and three
fumble recoveries … Threw for seven touchdowns, rushed for 13 more and
intercepted five passes as a junior … Twice named All-Conference … Also
lettered in basketball and track.
