A true junior who hopes to continue to serve as a starter at wide receiver.

Career: Has played in 25 games with 20 career starts at wide receiver … Caught 40 passes for 721 yards and two touchdowns … Is UConn’s nominee for the 2008 AFCA Good Works Team.

2007: Appeared in all 13 games with 12 starts … Ranked third on the team with 27 catches and second with 433 receiving yards, scoring one touchdown … Was UConn’s leading receiver in the Meineke Car Care Bowl (Dec. 29) … Had his lone score of the season come at West Virginia (Nov. 24) as a part of a 63-yard day … Made three catches at Cincinnati (Nov. 10) for 39 yards … Caught three passes against Temple (Sept. 15) for 54 yards … Season-high of 76 yards was set on his six grabs against Maine (Sept. 8) … Season-long grab was a 41-yard catch in the season opener at Duke (Sept. 1).

2006: Played in all 12 games and started each of the final eight … Caught 13 passes for an even 288 yards (a staggering 22.2 yard average) with one touchdown … Also credited statistically with four rushes for 18 yards … Had a 32-yard catch at Louisville (Dec. 2) … Against Cincinnati (Nov. 25), made three catches for 98 yards, including a 45-yard touchdown, his first career score … Caught three passes against West Virginia (Oct. 20) for 22 yards … Made a pair of receptions against Navy (Sept. 30), USF (Oct. 7) and Army (Oct. 14).

High School: As a running back in high school, gained 1,044 yards in his senior year on 145 carries for an average of 7.2 yards per carry … An All-Area pick for the three years by the Johnstown Tribune Democrat and was the three-time conference Player of the Year … As a junior, carried the ball 170 times for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns for an average of 8.2 yards per carry, while making 14 receptions for 223 yards and five touchdowns … On defense as a junior, made 55 tackles and five interceptions … .Earned All-State honors as a defensive back in 2005 … Nominated for the prestigious Big 33 All-Star Game … Also played basketball and track and field, where he was a Pennsylvania state gold medalist in the triple jump and the 200-meter dash.
