2007: Started all 13 games at quarterback and solidified the
offense … Completed 197-of-347 passes (57-percent) for 2367 yards with
13 touchdowns and just six interceptions … His 122.98 efficiency rating
is the best by a Husky signal caller since Dan Orlovsky in 2004 … Also
showed good mobility, running the ball 133 times for 328 yards and a
score … Shared the team MVP award with Dan Davis … Threw just one
interception over the final four games of the regular season and was
picked off just twice in BIG EAST play … Was an efficient 16-for-24 for
213 yards with a touchdown in the win over Syracuse (Nov. 17) … Had a
pair of touchdown tosses in the win over Rutgers (Nov. 3) … Threw for
194 yards and a score in the victory against USF (Oct. 27) … Helped

San Marcos, Calif. (near San Diego)…Named a first-team J.C. Grid-Wire
All-American and Offensive Player of the Year for California Junior
Colleges…Completed 229 of 332 passes (69.0-percent) for 2,960 yards,
throwing for 26 touchdowns against only three interceptions for a 167.90
efficiency rating…Carried the ball 134 times for 836 yards with eight
touchdowns…Had four 300-yard passing games to guide the Comets’ offense,
which averaged 467.7 yards per game and 40.0 points per game…Carried a
4.0 grade point average as a business major…Honorable Mention pick on
the J.C. Grid-Wire Scholar/Athlete Community College All-America
team…Originally signed with Iowa State in Feb. of 2005 after a
first-team All-State senior season at Eddyville-Blakesburg High
