Played in nine games on special teams and also as a reserve wide
receiver … Did not make any catches or tackles on the year.
2006:
Redshirted … Named the Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the
Syracuse game (Nov. 18).
High School:
Named second-team All-Greater Rochester in both senior and junior
years by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle … Had 37 receptions for
768 yards and six touchdowns as a senior after registering 30 receptions
for nearly 800 yards and six touchdowns in his junior season … Started
on defense for three years, making 24 tackles with three interceptions
as well as a fumble recovery as a senior … A three-year starter … Helped
Penfield Central advance to sectional final in junior and senior years …
Also played varsity basketball … High School teammate of current UConn
defensive tackle Rob Lunn.
