A redshirt sophomore who hopes to continue to help the Huskies at both linebacker and on special teams.

2007: Played in nine games on special teams and also as a reserve linebacker … Had nine tackles on the year, including two tackles for loss and a half of a sack … Made one of the team’s biggest stops of the entire season against No. 11 USF (Oct. 27), dropping quarterback Matt Grothe for an 11-yard loss on third-and-goal from the one yard line with 1:00 to play in a 22-15 UConn win … One of his two tackles against Louisville (Oct. 19) was a shared tackle for loss … Made three tackles against Akron (Sept. 29) including a half of a sack … Made a pair of tackles against Maine (Sept. 8).

2006: Redshirted … Named the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the Rhode Island game (Aug. 31).

High School: Recorded 75 tackles, two sacks and an interception as a senior … A versatile athlete who gained 350 yards as a receiver and 250 yards rushing … A two-time first-team All-Conference choice who was also named All-Section … Lettered in basketball and helped team to the 2006 Division 3-A final.
