Four Individual Medals Highlight Men’s Track Performance At Yale Invitational
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 11, 2009) - The University of Connecticut men’s track and field indoor team participated in their first collegiate meet of the 2009 track season at the Yale Invitational, Saturday. The Huskies had a strong showing as four athletes finished with individual championships. The team also took home a relay win. There was no team scoring. Many of the top finishers for the Huskies qualified for the New England and IC4A Championships with their time/distance.

A Chance To Repeat In 2009 For Men's Track
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 9, 2009) - After winning the fourth BIG EAST Championship in the last seven years during their 2008 Indoor Season, the University of Connecticut men's track team begins their 2009 Indoor season at the Yale Invitational. The BIG EAST Indoor Crown was the sixth Indoor title for the Huskies in the history of the track program.

Men's Track Names Indoor/Outdoor Captains
STORRS, Conn. (September 17, 2008) - The men’s track team has named their captains for the 2008-09 indoor/outdoor season. The captains will be seniors Andrew Dubs, Steven Iannaccone and Sean Smith.

Longtime Track Supporter Angus Wooten Passes Away
STORRS, Conn. (September 2, 2008) - Angus Wooten, a fixture on the UConn campus, passed away on Aug. 30. He was a tremendous supporter of the track and field program. The following is his obituary from Potter Funeral Home in Mansfield, Conn.
