Visiting Team Information
Dear Visiting Football Athletic Trainers:
The University of Connecticut’s Athletic Training staff would like to welcome
you and your staff to Connecticut. During your visit to the University of
Connecticut, the following accommodations have been made for you in the way of
supplies and services.
Visiting team locker room:
-4 Taping Tables
-4 Exam Tables
-Ice (600 lbs to use in locker room and on field)
-Biohazard containers
-Phone
On field:
-Water hook up (We will not provide coolers or ice chests, unless there is a
special request)
-Ambulance stationed on site available for transport and/or advanced care
-Biohazard containers
-1 Sideline Exam Table & 1 Sideline Taping Table
-Host Athletic Training Student with radio communication to UCONN sideline
-Crutches, splints, etc. on UCONN sideline
-Phone
The University of Connecticut team physician and an orthopedic consultant
will be present throughout the competition. There will be a C-Arm (fluoroscope)
at the stadium for x-ray service as well as St. Francis Hospital, located 15
minutes from the Stadium. Upon your arrival at the stadium, a member of the
athletic training staff will be available to assist with any further needs
and/or concerns. A cart will be available if necessary to help transport to and
from the sideline. We will provide you with an emergency phone list upon your
arrival at the stadium.
