National Team....was a member of the New England High Performance squad
that won the National Championship.
2006: Named to All-Mideast Region Second Team...started and played
in all 25 games during sophomore season...has started 46 of the first 48
games of her UConn career and has established herself as a key component
in the midfield...totaled two goals and
ranked in a tie for third on the squad with seven assists...scored a
goal and handed out two assists in 5-1 win at Georgetown (10/8)...scored
first career collegiate goal in 7-1 win over Sacred Heart (9/9).
2005: One of two true freshmen to play in all 23 games of the
season…made 21 starts...provided depth to midfield play...attempted four
shots.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years at Canton (Mass.) High
School...Scored 16 goals while adding 12 assists en route to leading
Canton H.S. to the 2004 Division II State Championship as a
senior...scored the winning goal of the 2004 State Championship Game on
a penalty stroke in overtime...named MVP league all-star following
junior and senior seasons...led the league in scoring with 11 goals and
seven assists as a junior...selected as a 2004 NFHCA All-America
choice...selected to play in the USA-Canada Challenge...2004 Boston
Globe Player of the Year.

Wheeler... exploratory major...born April 19, 1987 in Boston,
