Field Hockey Coaching Staff
Ryan Sherburne
Volunteer
Assistant Coach
Second Season
Entering his second season on the staff, Ryan Sherburne brings
expertise in defensive tactics and strategies.
Sherburne also brings a wealth of international experience as he is currently a
member of the U.S. Men’s National Field Hockey Team.
In addition to his international experience, Sherburne spent the 2005 and 2006
seasons as a student assistant coach for the Lock Haven (Pa.) University field
hockey program. During the summer of 2005 and 2006, Sherburne was a volunteer
assistant for field hockey during the Bay State Games in Massachusetts.
Other playing experience includes a stint with the U.S. Junior National Team
which saw Sherburne compete at the 2005 Junior Pan American Games and earn
captain status during the 2004-2005 seasons.
Sherburne is a graduate of Mohawk Trail Regional High School in Buckland, Mass.
He is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in sport management.
