No. 5 Connecticut Falls To No. 8 Duke In First Round Of NCAA Tournament
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (November 15, 2008) - The University of Connecticut women's field hockey team returned to the NCAA tournament for the 20th time in school history and the seventh season in a row. After finishing out the first half tied at one, thanks to a Lauren Aird goal, Duke scored the lone goal of the second half propelling them past the Huskies and into the second round of the NCAA tournament.
