Five Promotions Announced In Division Of Athletics Staff

STORRS, Conn. - University of Connecticut Director of Athletics Warde Manuel has announced five promotions within the administrative staff in the Division of Athletics.

Mike Enright has been elevated to Senior Associate Director of Athletics-Communications from Associate Director of Athletics-Communications; Dan Glinski to Assistant Director of Athletics-Equipment Services from Director of Equipment Services; Bob Howard to Assistant Director of Athletics-Athletic Training from Head Athletic Trainer; David Kaplan to Assistant Director of Athletics-Video Services from Director of Video Services; and Kyle Kravchuk to Associate Director of Athletics-Ticket Operations from Assistant Director of Athletics-Ticket Operations.

"All five of these individuals are key members of the administrative teams in our Division of Athletics and are extremely deserving of their new titles," said Manuel. "They all have demonstrated great leadership abilities in their positions and are tireless workers for the good of the entire University. I am very proud and happy that Mike, Kyle, Dave, Dan and Bob have earned these promotions."

Enright oversees UConn's Athletic Communications Office and is a member of Manuel's Leadership Team. He serves as the primary spokesperson for the entire Division of Athletics and primary contact for the football team. He also is the sport administrator for the men's and women's swimming and diving and women's rowing programs. A 1988 UConn graduate, he rejoined the UConn staff in 2002 after a first stint from 1988-92.

Glinski is entering his ninth year at UConn overall and oversees all equipment services operations within the Division of Athletics, including four separate equipment rooms. Glinski also works daily with the men's and women's basketball, swim & dive, tennis and men's golf teams. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1995.

Howard is entering his 26th year at UConn and oversees the entire athletic training program for all sports. The 2014 season will mark his 25th working directly with the Husky football team. Howard graduated from UConn in 1988 and added a master's degree in 1991. He also serves as an instructor in the UConn athletic training program.

Kaplan is entering his 20th year at UConn where he oversees all aspects of the day-to-day video operations, while also serving as executive producer for all internet content and weekly coach's shows for Huskies All-Access. Kaplan is responsible for all of the video needs for the men's basketball team and produces in-game video board shows. Kaplan attended the University of Northern Colorado and earned a degree from the Institute of Audio and Visual Research in New York City.

Kravchuk begins his ninth year and is responsible for managing all aspects of ticketing services for the Division of Athletics. Kravchuk previously worked in the Division of Athletics from 1997-99 as Director of Ticket Operations before returning in 2006. Kravchuk graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1989.
