“The UConn Division of Athletics is very proud the academic success of all our teams,” said Director of Athletics David Benedict. “UConn has a tradition of dedicated student-athletes who are committed to excellence in all parts of their college experience. I want to thank our coaching staffs and the staff of the Counseling Program for Intercollegiate Athletes for all of their efforts in supporting our student-athletes.”

The GSR data show the percentage of student-athletes earning a degree within six years of entering college. The NCAA developed the GSR to account for student-athletes not tracked by the federal graduation rate. The 2016 GSR numbers are based on entering classes from 2006 to 2009.
