Ed Blair enters his sixth year with the Huskies. He works primarily with UConn's men's hockey and golf teams, as well as overseeing the men's and women's tennis teams.
Ed is a 2008 graduate of Neumann University with a B.S. in athletic training. He held the role of graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Connecticut where he earned a M.S. in allied health in 2010.
During his time as a graduate assistant at the University of Connecticut, Ed worked with the football team for two years, participating in two bowl games. He also had responsibilities working with the golf team and men's and women's track and field. Ed spent time working with the athletic training staff of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers during the summer of 2010.
He has been a certified athletic trainer since 2008 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Additionally, he is the current treasurer of the Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association. Ed resides in Manchester, Conn. with his wife, Lori.
