Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Ninth Year

Maureen Butler has been an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Connecticut since June 2005. Her primary responsibilities are working with the men's & women's ice hockey, men's & women's track and field/cross country and baseball teams.

Prior to her appointment at UConn, she served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at UConn while working toward her master's degree in exercise physiology through the Kinesiology Department. She also served as a strength and conditioning coach within the USA Hockey Women's U-18 National Team program.

Moe is a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), is a certified Level I coach from USA Weightlifting (USAW) and USA Track & Field, as well as, certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS).

A native of Red Hook, N.Y., Moe attended the University of Connecticut and was a four year letter winner in field hockey, earning a bachelor's degree in fitness management.
