Lindsay Darcy has been an academic counselor at the University of Connecticut since October 2011. Her primary responsibilities include working with the men's and women's swimming and diving team, women's cross country and track and field and women's ice hockey.
A 2005 graduate of Syracuse University, Darcy was a four-year member of the field hockey team earning All-BIG EAST honors her senior season and was a four-year member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. Darcy also earned her master's degree in counseling from Manhattan College in 2008.
Prior to arriving at the University of Connecticut, Darcy worked at Manhattan College for five years. She spent the first three years working in the athletic compliance office before becoming the academic advisor for the 19 Division I teams at Manhattan.
Darcy is a native of North Granby, Conn. and currently resides with her husband, Ryan and sons, Nolan and Graham.
