Phil Dwire is in his tenth year at the University of Connecticut - his second as the director of digital media. Dwire is responsible for managing the Division of Athletics' presence on all digital platforms, including web, e-mail, mobile, social, and emerging media. He also serves as the primary liaison with IMG College and CBS College Sports on digital media and fulfillment, and is responsible for developing new and enhanced digital revenue opportunities for UConn and its partners.
From 2005 - 2011, Phil served in various roles within the Division of Athletics - most recently as an athletic marketing assistant - supporting the men's basketball, women's basketball, football, baseball, men's hockey and women's soccer programs. He has also provided support to the University's trademark licensing office during his tenure in Storrs. In addition to his role with Athletics, Phil also serves on the University's Mobile Development Steering Committee.
Phil is a two-time graduate of the University of Connecticut, holding a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in education/sport management. A native of Tolland, Connecticut, he currently resides in Manchester.
