Ann Fiorvanti begins her sixth year in the UConn Office of Athletic Compliance. She was hired in May 2011 as the assistant director of compliance services, and was promoted to assistant director of athletics for compliance services in August 2013. Fiorvanti has served on several campus and conference committees, including her latest position as the SAAC Advisor Liaison for the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
In addition, she currently serves on the Awards Committee for the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA), and is a 2014 graduate of the NCAA/NACWAA Institute for Administrative Advancement. Fiorvanti is a member of several professional organizations, including NACWAA and the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC).
Prior to her time at UConn, she worked as the director of student-athlete services at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. for three years. Before that, she spent six years at Providence College in Providence, R.I. As an undergraduate, Fiorvanti was a four-year member of the women's volleyball team, serving as team captain during her senior year.
After earning her bachelor's degree in elementary and special education, she worked as the graduate assistant for student-athlete services while earning her master's degree in education.
