Ingrid Hohmann begins her 13th year as an academic counselor at the University of Connecticut. Hohmann attended the University of Delaware, where she was a member of the women's track and field team and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. Following her time at Delaware, she attended Springfield College where she received her master's degree in academic counseling.
Hohmann worked as a therapist for two years with emotionally disturbed youth before accepting an internship at the University of Utah's Athletic Academic Support Office. She then moved on to Rutgers University as an athletic academic adviser before coming to work in the Counseling Program for Intercollegiate Athletes at UConn. Currently she is working with the football and lacrosse programs.
