    Chris Stasaitis is in his 12th season working on a full-time basis with the UConn football equipment staff and his 18th overall in UConn athletics. Stasaitis coordinates and oversees all phases of the football team's equipment operations. Stasaitis worked in various roles as an undergraduate, including Athletic Marketing and Corporate Relations, Facilities, Operations, and Event Services, and Equipment.

    He began working in the UConn equipment room as a junior and spent two years assisting with football matters. He continued to work in the equipment room as a graduate assistant for two years while working towards his master's degree before being promoted to a full-time position during the summer of 2003 and later assuming his current role in 2005.

    Stasaitis also gained professional experience in Minor League Baseball as an undergraduate by spending summers working in a variety of capacities for the Northern League's Waterbury Spirit in 1999 and the Atlantic League's Bridgeport Bluefish in 2001. He is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association and an allied member of the American Football Coaches Association.

    Stasaitis earned a bachelor's degree in sports marketing from UConn in 2001 and in 2003 completed his master's degree in sports management from UConn. A native of Waterbury, Conn., and a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Stasaitis resides in Storrs, Conn.
