As a Freshman in 2006-07: Played in 27 games, averaging 9.3 minutes per contest with 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds... Notched double-figures one time, scoring a career-high 14 vs. Coppin State... Scored seven points on 3-for-3 shooting against Syracuse in the BIG EAST Tournament... Tallied four points and rebounds against Villanova... Went 3-for-3 from the field, scoring nine points in win at Rutgers... Had five rebounds and a blocks against Syracuse... Put up two blocks in win over Seton Hall... Had four points and rebounds against Indiana... Tallied one rebound and a block in win over St. John’s... Had eight points and seven boards in season-high 22 minutes against Marquette... Tallied one rebound and a steal vs. Louisiana State... Played six minutes against South Florida, taking one shot... Had six boards in loss to West Virginia... Scored 14 points in 14 minutes off 7-of-7 shooting against Coppin State... Had three rebounds and two points in win against St. Mary’s (CA)... Played six minutes vs. Northeastern, tallying one rebound... Grabbed four defensive rebounds and tallied six points and two assists in game against Sacred Heart... Put up two blocks and tallied an assist in win over Mississippi... Tallied six points and rebounds in 11 minutes against Fairfield ... Scored eight points and tallied six rebounds in 18 minutes of action vs. Central Arkansas.

Before UConn: As a senior in 2005-06, he was named the New York Post and New York Daily News Player of the Year... Was selected to the Hall of Fame Game and was the Super 6 Showcase MVP… He averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks a game for Rice High School who won the city and state Catholic school championships… He was selected to the All-City team… He played in the 2006 Jordan All-American Classic at Madison Square Garden... As a junior in 2004-05, he averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game… He was selected to the All-City Team… He was an All-Star at the 2004 ABCD Camp.
