Led team in steals eight times and assists on four occasions this season... Scored six points against Syracuse in the BIG EAST Tournament... Tallied seven points at Georgetown... Tallied 10 points and two steals in win over Seton Hall ... Had eight points and two steals vs. Georgia Tech... Tallied 10 points and two assists against Providence... Before UConn: Finished his four-year varsity career with 1,763 points... As a senior at East Hartford H.S. in 2005-06, he averaged 32.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals per game… He was the Connecticut Gatorade High School Player of the year as East Hartford finished the season 19-3 and won the CCC North title… He was selected to the 2006 Hartford Courant and New Haven Register All-State First teams… He was an All-Conference Selection and served as captain of his team… He led the state of Connecticut in scoring... As a junior in 2004-05, he averaged 26 points per game… He was selected to the 2005 Hartford Courant All-State first team… He was an All-Conference selection as well… Served as captain of the team and led the state of Connecticut in scoring.
