Three Men's Soccer Players Named To MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List
Kansas City, Kan. (August 19, 2008) - University of Connecticut men's soccer player O'Brian White (Scarborough, Ontario) headlines the list of 48 men's Division I intercollegiate soccer players that comprise the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy Watch List for 2008, as released by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Tuesday. Akeem Priestley (Kingston, Jamaica) and Toni Stahl (Tuusula, Finland) join White on the list of preseason candidates after the Huskies went 20-3-1 last season through the BIG EAST Championship and NCAA Quarterfinals.

No. 2 Men's Soccer Earns Exhibition Win Over Michigan, 2-1
YPSILANTI, Mich. (August 16, 2008) - The No. 2 preseason nationally-ranked University of Connecticut mens soccer team opened its 2008 exhibition season with a 2-1 win over Michigan Saturday evening at Scicluna Field field on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. The match was the first preseason scrimmage for both squads.

Bleachers On East Side Of Morrone Stadium Removed; Will Be Replaced With Updated Set
STORRS, Conn. (August 15, 2008) - In its continuing efforts to provide the best possible soccer game day experience for its fans, the University of Connecticut has removed the existing east side bleachers (across from the press box) at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium and will erect an updated set of bleachers in the same area.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (August 13, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men's soccer exhibition game on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the University of Michigan will be moved to an alternate site due to construction on the Michigan Soccer Complex.

Men's Soccer Contest Against West Virginia To Air On Fox Soccer Channel
LOS ANGELES (August 12, 2008) - For the fourth consecutive season, the stars of NCAA Division I soccer will have an opportunity to shine on Fox Soccer Channel. Also for the fourth straight season, the University of Connecticut men's soccer team will be a part of it. The Huskies will face West Virginia on Friday, Oct. 3 at 8:00 p.m. in Joseph J. Morrone Stadium in front of a live Fox Soccer Channel audience.
